CRUSH logo - Helping Young People Make Safe & Healthy RelationshipsThe CRUSH Project is a structured programme of group support and empowerment for young people in the age range of 13 – 19 that are at risk of, or affected by domestic abuse.

 The objective of the CRUSH programme is to provide children & young people with the knowledge and tools to enable them to avoid abusive relationships, exit an abusive relationship safely or better manage their exposure to domestic abuse in the home.

 CRUSH is suitable for those in the age range of 13 – 19 years of age (male or female)and the programme is open to those exhibiting victim or perpetrator traits. The programme can be delivered in a number of different ways, catering for mixed groups, male or female only groups, or for those with specific cultural or diversity needs e.g. BME, LGBT or Disability. Children & Young

 People can be referred onto the CRUSH Programme either via an agency referral or self referral, similar to the process used by the West Mercia Women’s Aid 24hr helpline.
